To correct the excessive concentration of people in the Tokyo area and address labor shortages at small and medium-sized businesses in Miyagi Prefecture, support payments are provided to people who live in the 23 wards of Tokyo, or who live in the Tokyo area and commute to work in the 23 wards, and who relocate to Miyagi Prefecture and meet certain requirements, such as obtaining employment in an eligible job opening. Prior consultation is required.
