Subsidy Rate Household: ¥2,000,000; Single person: ¥1,200,000; If relocating from the Tokyo metropolitan area and the household includes a member under 18, up to ¥1,000,000 per person is added; ¥1,200,000 per person is added for those employed in occupations such as medical care, nursing care, or welfare.

Support grants are provided to people relocating from outside Fukushima Prefecture to the 12 municipalities that were subject to evacuation orders and other measures following the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station operated by Tokyo Electric Power Company, who are motivated to take on challenges such as creating new communities, with the aim of further accelerating the reconstruction and revitalization of the 12 municipalities by attracting new vitality through the relocation of new residents from outside the prefecture.
