As population decline continues toward 2040, and the number of people aged 85 and over with medical and long-term care needs, older people with dementia, and older people living alone is expected to increase, support will be provided based on prefectural plans to promote the development of systems for providing long-term care services, including community-based services, in response to changes in service demand in each region, thereby deepening the community-based integrated care system.
