Amid continuing increases in prices, this program aims to promote the ward’s heatstroke prevention measures and protect the health and safety of ward residents by providing a Heatstroke Prevention Support Payment to ward residents who are not supplied with water by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and therefore cannot receive the reduction or exemption of basic water charges implemented by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, to cover expenses necessary for operating cooling equipment and taking other heatstroke prevention measures.
