To address the structural issue of insufficient transportation capacity in Japan’s logistics system while establishing food security for every citizen under the Basic Law for Food, Agriculture and Rural Areas, this project supports initiatives undertaken jointly by diverse stakeholders, including the standardization, digitalization and data integration of logistics, modal shifts, last-mile delivery, and other efforts, as well as the introduction of facilities and equipment necessary for logistics automation, labor saving, quality control, and other purposes.
