The purpose of this program is to ensure the welfare of facility residents and others by promoting the prompt recovery from disasters through subsidizing part of the costs required for disaster recovery projects that have been approved following consultation with and approval by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, concerning the disaster recovery of facilities damaged by strong winds, floods, storm surges, earthquakes, or other abnormal natural phenomena.
