To promote the production and wider adoption of fruit as a new local specialty, this program provides subsidies covering part of the expenses, within the limits of the available budget, to individuals who establish a new orchard or newly plant fruit tree seedlings. Its purpose is to promote the establishment of new orchards and the new planting of fruit tree seedlings, while also developing a fruit-producing region, nurturing future agricultural leaders, and making effective use of underutilized farmland.
