Publisher Phoenixx announced on September 17th that it will be handling the release of the unique 2D action game 'Unko Technica' ('Poop Technica'), developed by udonpa. To celebrate, a limited-time demo version became available on Steam on the same day.
A Unique Premise
This indie title, which won an award at the "2nd GYAAR Studio Indie Game Contest" in 2023, tasks players with a most unusual mission: guiding an automatically running piece of "poop" to a toilet bowl using only the jump button to overcome obstacles. Dubbed a "Stylish Poop Action" game by its creators, it combines retro-futuristic neon graphics with an addictive soundtrack to create a surprisingly intense high-difficulty action experience.

Simple Controls, Tough Challenges
While the control scheme is deceptively simple—just one button for jumping—the game presents players with over 150 stages filled with crumbling platforms, spike walls, and ON/OFF switches that will test their reflexes and concentration to the limit. The game also features a gacha system, allowing players to use in-game currency called "UN-COIN" to customize their poop's appearance and unlock additional stages, adding a layer of collectibility and replay value.
Demo Available Now
The newly released demo offers roughly ten minutes of core gameplay, providing a perfect taste of its challenging nature. It even includes a special stage specifically designed by developer udonpa for skilled players looking to test their mettle. Phoenixx commented on the release, stating, "This game has no heart-moving story or characters. All that exists is your skill." The demo will be available for download until September 29th.
