October 3, 2025

With the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo set to close on October 13, organizers have released a detailed schedule of finale events designed to celebrate the 184-day international gathering.

A Grand Send-Off

The two-day closing program on October 12 and 13 will feature a "Matsuri of the World" with music and dance across five pop-up stages, a colorful flag parade, and a spectacular fireworks display.

Cultural Showcases and Thanks

Events include a "Myaku Myaku" character exhibition, a photo retrospective of the Expo's journey, and a special thank-you ceremony presented by JR West. The closing ceremony will be broadcast live on YouTube for global audiences.

Legacy and Transition

The Expo, themed "Designing Future Society for Our Lives," has drawn millions of visitors. The finale aims to honor the international collaboration and forward-looking spirit that defined the event, while formally passing the baton to the next host country.
